James Martin – Coffee Deluxe Events

With over two decades behind the machine, working for some of Melbourne’s most reputable cafés and coffee roasters, James Martin has built a career defined by quality and care. As the former owner of the much-loved CBD spot Satchmo’s Den Café, James knows what it takes to create coffee experiences that stand out.

He founded Coffee Deluxe Events to bring that same café-standard coffee and service to markets, private functions, and corporate events alike. Guided by calm professionalism and an obsession with the details, James has shaped Coffee Deluxe into a name people trust for both craft and consistency.

For him, great coffee is more than a drink. It’s a moment of connection and something worth doing properly.

How many guests can you serve per hour? Answer: Our carts can serve around 60–100 guests per hour, depending on your menu. We can scale up with extra staff for larger events to keep queues moving and everyone happy.

Do you need power or water for your cart? Answer: We just require 10amp outlets (standard domestic power). We bring all water tanks with us.
